Seller Says: What I love most about Arden is the convenience to everything in Asheville, Henderson County and Brevard. Twenty minutes to everything! We are less than fifteen minutes from Biltmore Park with an abundance of shopping and great restaurants. Brixx has something for everyone. South Asheville is a mecca of great eateries from Tupelo Honey to Cinnamon Kitchen! Grocery stores are plentiful in Arden and South Asheville.  Earthfare tops the chart, followed by several Ingles. The Farmers' Market is every Wednesday in Biltmore Park from 2-6. When we bought our property we were drawn to the breathtaking mountain views within our community and the privacy in the wooded setting.

The Roberson School District is the best in Buncombe County and closed the deal for us. The Asheville area has something for everyone. The mountains, art and music scene, restaurant and beer scene are tops in the nation.  We have all come to Asheville to find ourselves, nurture our creative side or to rediscover that inner hippie we left behind.  Everyone here wants to be here and has brought with them their lifetime of talents and gifts to share.

Asheville schools are phenomenal as well. Good choice of private schools. State Universities are the best academically and affordably. Your child is given first opportunity for acceptance to state colleges over out of state candidates. Come visit and you will never leave! Listen to the birds and watch the spotted fawns every spring! We have a variety of interests from hiking with our dog off lead in our community forests to learning to spin fiber into wool from a local Alpaca farmer.
Community college and the Center for Creative Retirement opens your world to endless possibilities.  If you have an interest, you can find it here! In my neighborhood in Avery Park, we are surrounded on 3 sides by the Pisgah Forest. Hiking and wildlife abound here!  We are a community that looks out for one another, while respecting each other's privacy.

We have social gatherings poolside several times per year and our annual Holiday Social is shared between two homes.  Our Board Chair keeps us advised of what's happening in our community. Our utility costs are very low. The natural mountain breezes keep the air conditioning off most summers.  We pay $75 monthly for electricity and about $1,000 per year for gas delivery.  Well water is free!

Thanks so much for having us in your delightful, peaceful home! I can’t remember feeling so relaxed as when we sat watching the sunset over the spectacular mountain ridge right in front of you. We were captivated by the quiet beauty there…and still a short drive to town. You have a beautiful mountain resort to call home!
