things I love about Arden are the wonderful areas to shop, plentiful
restaurants to eat at, Biltmore Park, the wonderful outdoor activities,
and the kind people who live in this area. There are so many great
restaurants around this area. Any type of cuisine one would like is
right around the corner. Ones that really stick out are Iannucci's (not quite sure of the spelling) and Blue Sky cafe.
Both of these restaurants are locally owned and are not chains. Grocery
stores are plentiful! There are three different Ingles within a few
miles, Two super walmarts, a super Target, an Earth Fare
and a new Lowes foods. When I bought the property I was drawn to the
nice wooded lot with a stream, the large laundry room along side a
spacious den, large bedrooms and the ability to walk to Royal Pines Park
from my front door.
The Arden area is a wonderful place to live for
many reasons. Notably the Robertson school district which is top notch.
Also, the convieniance of the area cannot be beat. Literally everything
is right around the corner. It is a great place to live with pets. There
are two parks close by to walk dogs and a wide variety of vets and grooming available. The reputation of the Robertson school district
is unbeatable. Many people move to this area especially for the school
district. It is a huge selling point for the Arden area. Short travel to
great outdoor recreation. IE: Pisgah forest, Bent Creek, Dupont State
Forest, Fletcher park, Lake Jullian, of course the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The Asheville/Arden area provides it's community with a wide variety
of things to do. Notably, the home is very close to the Blue Ridge
Parkway. One could spend the entire day driving the park way, taking in
the wonderful views, picnicing, hicking....you name it! Our neighborhood
is great for wonderful kind neighbors, royal pines park and a strong
