Convenience. Small town. Hendersonville is friendly and homey. We have loved living here. 

Square Root and Never Blue on Main Street are 2 of our favorite restaurants. We also love Papa's and Beer. Umi Sushi is wonderful too. Fresh Market is just minutes away. You can get the best organic food there. Harris Teeter is also minutes away. 

Our home is in a very convenient location. We loved the wood inside and log cabin type feel of the home. Also private area around. Asheville is a short drive away as well as Brevard. You have Greenville just 45 minutes away so Hendersonville is easy access. 

We enjoy hiking and biking. We love to go to Triple Falls and Hooker Falls and walk around. We love to stroll down main street and shop. 

Our neighborhood, Crooked Creek, is quiet and private. Everyone is very nice and friendly.

What I love about Arden is that is close to everything you can think of! It's very well located and accessible, as well as attractive from every angle. It's a growing area, and we've seen it evolve since we moved to NC. Love that is close to downtown Asheville and Hendersonville and that we get the best weather of the whole area! 
Our favorite restaurants, which happen to be just minutes away, are The Hickory Tavern at Biltmore Park and the recently opened Wild Wings Cafe with a gorgeous terrace overlooking Lake Julian. There are tons of other restaurants, from chains to local restaurants, so nobody gets bored exploring the available cuisine in Arden. 
There's lots of grocery stores like Target, Walmart, Aldi, Ingles, and our favorite, Earth Fare. Not as close, but there's also The Fresh Market within the same general area. 
When we bought the property, we were very happy that it was so conveniently located to everything and that the neighborhood was so pretty and clean. We fell in love with it afterwards even more because of the view and the privacy; we could watch the sunset from our bedroom or front yard and listen to nature. And when the first thunderstorm rolled through, it was wonderful to watch! 
The Arden area is wonderful because it's close to everything. You can go hiking, dining, shopping, etc. and not leave the area. 
A few other things I can mention about our particular unit are: 
- We have the only unit with a custom built organic vegetable/herb garden 
- We are the only unit with a custom built walkway - In Spring, you will see lots of tulips & geraniums bloom in both, front & back yards and might be able to enjoy some peaches. In the Summer, you'll enjoy figs right out of your garden! 
- We have custom built shelves in the garage. They hold A LOT of stuff and you can still park your car inside 
- Our unit is one of the only ones (out of 4 total) that has 2 feet of pure concrete inside the walls, so you cannot hear ANYTHING your neighbors are doing, even when the surround system is on! All other units have paper walls.
If you like hiking and/or biking, you'll have PLENTY of places to do so. The Blue Ridge Parkway & Arboretum are 7 minutes from the house, going the back way (Glen Bridge). If you like running, Biltmore Park has great trails and paved roads so you'll never be bored, especially with some of those hills!  A beautiful YMCA is also located at Biltmore Park and they have an indoor pool and tons of great exercise classes! There are several parks in the area as well, but we loved Lake Julian, where you can feed the ducks & fish, and maybe even jump on a paddle boat! 
Our neighborhood, Lake Julian Trails is a darling community, in a great location. When you drive in, it's aesthetically pleasing, quiet, comfortable and always clean and well manicured. And when you stand at the top of the hill (or the bottom, where our unit is) you can't help but being mesmerized by the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It has a doggie park and additional parking areas for your extra cars and/or visitors and our neighbors are great! Dog & kid friendly.

We have Ingles right down the road from us. We loved the neighborhood. And our yard was amazing and big.  We love the convenience of everything around us. The interstate 40 and 26 are just right there. Also Blue Ridge Parkway.  
This is the perfect house because of the one level for a retired couple or a family. The bedrooms are nice sze and the floor plan is open. It also has a wonderful deck on the back that we have enjoyed. 

We love taking drives out to the country or going shopping in Asheville.  We love to work in the yard. We have a large yard and it is fantastic for planting flowers. 

Our neighborhood is quiet and convenient to everything. Lots of families live around us and kids playing. It is a great place to raise a family. We love when our grandchildren come to visit, because it is a kid friendly neighborhood."
