"Seller Says"

The things I love about Asheville are nature, community, the arts and fun. Asheville is an easy going city with lots of things to do for everyone.

We are spoiled in Asheville with the caliber of culinary delights and West Asheville is no exception. Sunny Point Cafe has the best Huevos Rancheros out there and their bacon is just divine. Universal Joint has the best Gyro, Biscuit Heads, Lucky Otter, West Asheville Bakery; are just a few more of the great restaurants. What I love is that the restaurants adhere to the same attitude of the residents and you will find organic, fresh and seasonal farm to table cuisine. Dining, lunching or getting a great cup of tea in West Asheville is a standard!

We are so centrally located that you can walk to Ingles or head over to the Farmer's Market. West Asheville Fresh Market is only a short drive and a quick jump on the interstate will get you to Greenlife, Harris Teeter and Trader Joe's within 8 minutes.

When we bought the property, and then built this home, we knew that West Asheville was the neighborhood for us. The ability to live in the heart of a walking neighborhood with so many parks and fresh water while being only 5 minutes to downtown, that was what drew us to build. Add that my home has long range views in the center of the neighborhood, well that is very rare. I sit on my porch or in my living room and have the sun setting and rising with the mountain range as a back drop.
West Asheville is a gem and has a comprehensive park and recreation oriented community. Within 5-10 minutes walk from my house I can access 4 parks that all connect to the Greenway Project expansion. 5 houses down from me at the West Asheville park there is a crystal clear creek, bird sanctuary, baseball field (complete with open concession stand on game nights), covered picnic/bbq areas and a couple acres of green space. Just a bit further there is a 3 mile hike complete with a beach and just around the corner I can launch my tubes or canoes. West Asheville's main corridor, only a 10 minute stroll from my house, is full of great restaurants, music venues, Pubs and shopping. With yearly festivals and weekly tail-gate Farmer's sale you will always find pedestrian traffic in this neighborhood. If you don't get to the tail gates, no worries, you are only a 5 minute drive to the Farmer's Market.
