The things we love about Canton include the great Labor Day Festival and the fact that it is so affordable but so close to the bigger cities of Asheville and Waynesville!
We love to eat at Burger King, Taco Bell, Sagebrush Steakhouse, McDonalds, Dairy Queen and many others that are within a 5 minute drive!
Our location is great because it's close to the interstate and convenient to Ashevile and Waynesville too. If you just hop on the interstate, Asheville is only about 15 minutes away and Waynesville is less than 10 minutes!
We enjoy the friendly neighbors and they also give you plenty of privacy too. We really love it here and have a 180 degree view of the beautiful mountains nearby. The Blue Ridge Parkway, Cold Mountain, and Balsam Gap are all easily within view. Our neighbor owns 100 acres next door and so we have a lot of woods for privacy next door. We love the wildlife including deer, wild turkey, rabbits and red hawks. We also love the view of the valley below with beautiful farm scenes with hay bales, tractors, and farmland and pastures too!
When we bought the property, we were drawn to the views of the mountains nearby as well as the pasturelands below.
