When we purchased this property we were excited to find a place that was very private but convenient to shopping, schools, and medical care. This spacious home had what we were looking for such as a mountain view, room to build a workshop, and and area for vegetable and flower gardens.
Asheville has been home to me most of my life. I enjoy the good quality water, the mountains, trout fishing, and grouse hunting. There are plenty of golf courses, restaurants, and excellent medical care. We even have a Veterans Hospital.
The schools here are tremendous from elementary through high school. My children and grandchildren attended the local public schools. All were able to get into excellent colleges. Two of my grandchildren went to college on athletic/academic scholarships. This area has many fine college and university programs for ALL ages.
This property is located conveniently to the Blue Ridge Parkway, I-240, I-40, and Tunnel Road. Nestled in the middle of 7 acres, it has been a private getaway for me and my family.
This area can be all inclusive for any hobby! The sky is the limit. I enjoy, walking, hiking, gardening, and social outings. Many of my friends are interested in the various forms of Art that Asheville offers such as live theater, music, and art studios. The Asheville Tourists baseball is great family fun.
