"Seller Says"

Maggie Valley NC is a pleasant place to live. My home is very private, with no mandatory HOA fees. The roads are taken care of by the DOT, and my house is in the county so there are no Maggie Valley taxes.

I like to eat at Frankie's Italian Trattoria...Legends Sports Bar has the best burgers ever. Joey's Pancake House for breakfast....Of course just a little drive over the mountain to Cherokee Casino for great food and fun...

Everything you need is about 10 minutes away, in Waynesville (Russ Avenue) Grocery stores, drug stores, more restaurants, K-Mart, Walmart, Belks, etc.

I bought my home as a fixer upper, but I saw the potential in it.  It has large open rooms, with lots of glass, original red oak floors, 2 fireplaces and an original built in sauna, the ensuite master bath (though original) has a bidet.

This area is close to everything....30 mins to Asheville, 35 mins to Cherokee, 3 hours to Atlanta, 1.5 hours to Knoxville, 1.5 hours to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (Dollywood).

The people in this area are wonderful... A few other things I can mention, my house is not dramatic to look at, on the outside, all the beauty is on the inside. You won't find a house built like this one was 50 years ago, all steel and concrete foundation. The Architect (Tae Lee) was Asian and the house is designed with feng shui principals, built originally for an Asian family....

Maggie Valley is quiet and peaceful...No matter what your day entails, it's always good to get home to your private retreat...... We all like different things, and I work all the time. There is golfing at the Maggie Valley Country Club, there are all types of quilting and needle work clubs in the area. Hiking is great...... My home is on a private lot, we all have lots of land so there aren't any close neighbors. I have a huge deck and it's a great house for entertaining.
