Charming newer home, located just 10 minutes from downtown Asheville or Weaverville and located just across from Riverside Park. Huge IKEA eucalyptus kitchen. Gorgeous white oak floors and lots of windows to let in the natural light. Master suite + 2 bedrooms upstairs and one on main. Garage plus parking. Tons of outdoor living space on wraparound deck and covered front porch. Mountain views from upper level & winter view of French Broad River.
"Seller Says"

The house is so close to downtown Asheville and Weaverville that it makes it convenient to get to either one. Reynolds Village with the new Thirsty Monk, a YMCA branch and Livi's Pantry, a unique grocery store with specialty foods and grab-and-go fare, is very convenient.

We are also across the street from Riverside Park and the French Broad River where you can go for a walk, fish or put your boat, kayak or tube in the water.

We love to go in to Weaverville to Blue Mountain Pizza or we head downtown Asheville for many choices from Curate to Mamacita's. We are also close to West Asheville where we often go to Lucky Otter or The Hop West for ice cream. The great thing is we can get to all the great spots in about ten minutes.

We liked the fact that we had lots of choices from going to Weaverville where they have a Lowe's, Ace Hardware, Wal-Mart and Ingles or over to Merrimon Avenue in Asheville for Ingles, or you can head across the bridge and be on New Leicester Highway and get to Ingles or the Dollar General. The house is pretty much in the middle of it all so shopping is a breeze.

When we first saw the property we fell in love with it because the house is at the very end of the street and behind it are only woods so there's lots of privacy, yet it's so close to town. We also loved that we saw so many birds from finches to blue birds and woodpeckers. The huge front porch and wrap around deck immediately caught our eye when we first looked at the house and we fell in love with the yard. There's also an amazing view from the bedrooms upstairs.

Asheville is a great outdoor location where hiking, bike riding and rafting are easily accessible. It's also a great food and beer destination with tons of great restaurants and breweries. Downtown Asheville usually has some interesting event going on and there's lots of artists in the area which makes for an interesting atmosphere.

A few other things I can mention is that the house itself is very roomy with a great kitchen, which was important to us because we love to cook. Outside there are lots of plants, two peach trees and butterfly bushes and lots of outdoor space from sitting on the front porch when it's raining, hanging out on the deck or sitting down at the fire pit in the yard below.

It's a small lot but the way it's laid out makes it seem much bigger. There's plenty of storage room in the basement as well. One great thing is that it's perfect for entertaining lots of guests. There are so many different outside areas for people to mingle in addition to the living room and kitchen areas that it makes an excellent space for a dinner party or special event.

We are right off Riverside Drive so we can head straight out and go to Hot Springs for a hike or to the spa. It's a beautiful drive heading up that way. We also enjoy how easy it is to get on I-26 and head up to Mars Hill for hiking and then eating at the Cork and Crown for a great dinner and drinks.

We all like different things but we especially enjoy walking, hiking, bird watching, and dabbling in art such as mosaics. Asheville gives you easy access to all those things. Our neighborhood is great for people who like to live close to town but have some privacy. We are at the end of a dead end street, at the top of a "mini-mountain", so it is peaceful and quiet but there's usually kids playing outside and people walking dogs.
