'Seller Says'

The things we love about our town is the closeness of community. We enjoy the local fairs and events.

We truly enjoy all the wonderful places to eat.  In Waynesville we love Angelo's Pizza. Best pizza ever. We have Mexican restaurants in Canton and in Bethel. We enjoy going to Asheville (28 miles away). And we go to the eateries downtown. And enjoy the nightlife.

We have a lot of stores and convenience stores in town and in Bethel. There is a Food Lion. And Ingels. A Stop n Shop.  We have a awesome hard ware store. It's called Hometown Hardware. Lowes is 8 miles away.

We were and still are drawn to this property for all the things listed:

The privacy
The bounty of cold fresh spring water.
We love the garden spaces there are 6 spots
The front porch (you gotta experience it)
The wildlife. Lots of Turkeys
Birds (of every kind)
Bear. (We've seen two)
The workshop.
We love the mild winters and cool summers.
We love the Asheville area. We have the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. Lots of streams and rivers and lakes. Hiking trails and mountains views. There is always something to do in and around our area.

I would also like to mention the school system.  Local grade schools are just minutes away. We have bus service at the end of the lane.  The high school is in town 5 miles away. We enjoy all the beauty that surrounds us. Fresh clean air and clean water. The changing of the four seasons. The fireflies at night.  Also that there are no biting flying insects. (there's on standing water on the mountain).

Most of our hobbies are home based. My wife enjoys gardening and herb growing. And basket weaving. And hiking. I love woodworking in my workshop and gardening.  I also love fishing the many streams and lakes in our area. But there are a lot of hobbies and pastimes that would please every taste. Our neighborhood is very small.  We don't have any visible neighbors. But we like to get together with each other when we can. And we look out for each other. There is no downside to living in this close knit community.
