The things I love about the Fletcher/Cane Creek area of S. Asheville are numerous!  I love the fact that my home is located in an area that offers incredible year-round mountain views, the best schools, and is only minutes from everything that Asheville has to offer.      
We love eating at many of the restaurants that are close by.  There is such a wide variety to chose from that we never get tired of them.  Some of our favorite places to eat are on or near Hendersonville Road which is about a 7 minute drive.  We like Tupelo Honey Café, 12 Bones (best baby back ribs in town), Panera Bread, The Green Sage, and Hoopers Creek Café (Sonny is a very talented chef).  We also like many of the downtown restaurants and a few in the Biltmore area.  Some of our favorites are Suwanna's Thai Orchid, Ichiban's Japanese restaurant, Mellow Mushroom Pizza, Cheddar's, and The Grove Park Inn.  What's nice is that everything is within 10-15 minutes from our home.    

There are plenty of grocery stores in our area.  We shop at Earth Fare for all our organic foods and Ingles Market for everything else.  There are three Ingles Markets within 10 minutes of our home, so we shop at all of them depending on what direction we are going that day!  There is also a Food Lion nearby and several bakeries and specialty shops.  Everything is very convenient.      

We purchased this property because of its uniqueness!  It had "everything" that we were looking for, so we didn't have to compromise.  The Cane Creek Valley is one of the most beautiful areas in all of Asheville and to find a home of this quality, with as many amenities as it has, is very rare.  The 2.5 acre lot that this home sits on is a rarity in itself considering that IT'S ALL USABLE.  And, the home was positioned on the lot perfectly so that there is a view from every single window, from every room, on all three levels of the home.  The quality of construction is excellent and the high-end finishes used in this home give it a one-of-a-kind presentation.  We love the massive great room and open chef's kitchen because there is plenty of room for entertaining and family gatherings.  We love the entertainment level of the home that leads out to the pool area.  We love the fact that all the rooms are spacious.  It is just the perfect home and hope the next owners enjoy it as much as we have!    
The Asheville area is just a wonderful place to live.  The mild climate allows for year-round activities, so there is always something to do!    

I don't have children in the school system, but I understand that the Reynolds district, where we live, is the best in the Asheville area.    

Because we enjoy mild winters, outdoor activities are year round.  We enjoy walking, hiking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, fishing, and going to the many outdoor venues that take place throughout the year.  We also enjoy the great restaurants, culture, and friendly people that call Asheville their home.    

If you are looking for the perfect place to start a new and wonderful life, then S. Asheville is the place you've been looking for!  Our neighborhood is great because it's not too big and not too small.  It's just right!  Each parcel is an acre or more so each homeowner has plenty of privacy.  The people who live here are friendly, neat and clean, and the neighborhood is a safe place for children to play.  We have beautiful views so taking family walks and spending time outside are things we really enjoy doing here.    

Because of the high-quality construction and upgraded insulation used in this home, the utility costs are less than the smaller home that we previously owned.
