"Seller Says"
The things we love about Asheville, NC are the mild winters and the cool summer nights, good places to eat, interesting places to visit and the breathtaking views of the mountains.
We love to eat at Stony Knob, Bellagio Bistro and 12 Bones, which are minutes away, as well as many of the restaurants in downtown Asheville which are world famous. Even the President has to visit the area to eat at our restaurants several times a year. We love to shop at the Asheville Mall and the shops in Biltmore Village.  Grocery stores are plentiful and minutes away.  Lowe's and Walmart are off the next exit of Highway 26.

When we bought the property we were drawn the the beautiful natural setting and the views of the mountains.  The south facing property allows plenty of natural sunlight. The Asheville area is wonderful because it provides all the modern conveniences while being located in the middle of nature.

A few other things that I can mention are the great schools systems.  The public schools are good and there are several private school systems in the area.  The University of North Carolina at Asheville is five minutes from our house.  Mission Hospital offers excellent health care and is ten minutes away.

We love to spend our evenings and weekends outside.  We both work inside all day and can't wait to get home to sit on the front deck and watch the sunset or take a refreshing dip in the pool.

Of course everyone has different things they like to do in their spare time and there is so much to do in the area.  We love to go tubing down one of the many nearby rivers in the surrounding mountains in the summer and snow sking at a nearby ski resort in the winter.  Taking a hike to one of the many waterfalls is a nice way to spend an afternoon.

Our neighborhood is great for the country surroundings just minutes from Asheville.  We work in Asheville but love living in the country.  We have bears, deer, racoons, foxes and turkeys who come down from the surrounding mountains to visit us frequently.  The neighbors are friendly.

Our utility costs are very reasonable because of the mild seasons and the fact that we have natural gas service.  Progress Energy is the electric utility and our electric bill averages $75 a month.  Public Service Gas is our natural gas utility and our gas bill averages $50.  We have public water and sewer and our water/sewer bill averages $40.

  8. All I have to say is that it has a POOL! And a wonderful entertaining outdoor space which is accessible to the kitchen. The front yard and view are not shabby either. Very convenient to both downtown Asheville and Weaverville's Main Street. Fun times to be had in this home!
