The things I love about my town......we are surrounded my beautiful mountains! There are so many free, fun activities to keep you busy like hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, boating, some music festivals, art gallery browsing, etc. Plus if you're like me and you're a craft brew person or a "foodie" then this is the place for you! 

I love to eat at the following restaurants: Corner Kitchen, Village Wayside, Papa's and Beers, Posana CafĂ©, Asakas, Tupelo Honey, Juicy Lucy's, Red Stag Grill, Rezaz, Laughing Seed, The Bier Garden, Table, Mellow Mushroom, Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company (ABC), and so many more! 

Grocery Stores, Art Galleries, Local Shops, bakeries, restaurants and breweries are all within a couple miles of the house. There's a gas station and a liquor store less than a mile away. The Blue Ridge Parkway entrance is about 3 miles south. When I saw this house I absolutely loved the location and its convenience to everything. Even only 5 years ago it was a different area that's just continuing to sprout up! I knew that would happen! To top it off, I had a master plan/vision for the backyard so I had to buy the house :)

The Asheville area is wonderful because of its diverse groups of people. Plus it's very artsy and music centered. There is always something to do around town! To top it off, we have over 200 restaurants in this little mountain town and I believe 17 craft breweries!
I love my house and have not only taken very good care of it, but have created the ultimate backyard space. Come check it out and compare it to the adjacent lot (how it used to look) to see how amazing it has become! 

Of course we all like different things, but I really like to build and create things with wood. I built everything in my yard, with my largest project the gazebo with hidden hot tub and my most recent project, a pallet porch swing (hangs in the gazebo.) 

My Neighborhood is great because it's so conveniently located so close to everything! It's only just over a mile to Bilmore Village with all the shops, galleries, restaurants and breweries! It's only 3 miles to the huge hospital and 4 miles to get to the heart of downtown. It's also only about 1.5 miles to either a local grocery store or an ingles. My road also has a day and night bus route so it's cheap and easy to get downtown if I want to take the bus! Beyond that, I really do not have any neighbors other an the people to the left of the house who are really nice. It's a very quiet place in my opinion.
