'Seller Says'

The thing I love about Hendersonville is that it's close to areas where we like to take the kids to play, like parks where the kids can play without to many other kids in the way, the waterfalls on the old Dupont property, and feeding the goats at the Carl Sandburg home.

When we eat out we might go to Chick-fil-A so the kids can play or if we want somewhere nice maybe Applebee's or Outback Steakhouse all within 5 miles driving.

We shop at Ingles grocery 2 miles from our house which is very convenient and one thing I love about this Ingles is that it's small and there is never so much traffic that its a concern for our kids safety.

I bought the property in March of 2003 and what I liked about the area is the peacefulness. I grew up in Asheville and the city has become very crowded, so I looked for a place that offered a place to relax but close to Asheville where I work. We're close to railroad tracks but, the trains come very little. When they do our young boys love to watch them go by and count the cars.

I love that we have a creek next to our house which adds to the relaxation and makes the area more scenic with nature.

A few other things I can mention are we're close to the interstate which makes travel to visiting family easier, we're within 3 miles of Park Ridge Hospital so if there is an emergency we're covered, and there is a bowling alley and a putt-putt course .5 mile away for fun. We really do have a great location for any situation.

Our hobbies usually revolve around doing things with the kids. Going to the parks or an occasional movie at Epic Theaters which is about 3 to 4 miles from the house. Our neighborhood is great for families with young kids to play in the yard. There is plenty of space to play yard games, play on a swing set, or ride bikes in the cul-de-sac with very little traffic in and out of the neighborhood. We have great neighbors who are very friendly.
