We love to eat at Papa's Pizza which is just five minutes down the road. If you're in the mood for pizza, pasta, sub a salad or just a burger and it's going to be great every time. Also downtown Asheville is filled with amazing restaurants! Grocery stores are plentiful and are close by. Ingles on Leicester Hwy is where we like to do our shopping and it is a couple of minutes away. The cashier's are great, the bag boys are happy to take your groceries out and the manager Phillip knows the customers by name. We also have a Go grocery, Whole Foods, Bi-Lo, Publix and Super Walmart that you can also choose from.
When we bought the property we were drawn to the beautiful rock ranch style home and the large lot. We thought it would be an amazing place to raise our family. Which it was. So many wonderful memories made in this ranch home.
The Asheville area is wonderful because you can live as simple of a life as you like. Asheville is rich in the arts, natural beauty and friendly people. It is a real community. A few other things I can mention are the schools in our area are wonderful. West Buncombe Elementary, Eblen Intermediate, Erwin Middle and Erwin High. These are the schools all of my children attended and we had great experiences with all of them. We love and enjoy being in a close knit community. Everyone is friendly in the West Buncombe area.
Of course we all like different things but my husband and boys love all aspects of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking, snow boarding and skiing. My girls and I love shopping, dining out, movies and riding horses. Asheville is perfect for all of these activities and then some!
Our neighborhood is great for the human element. Beautiful trees and homes, Friday night football, bonfires in the back yard, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. If you are going out of town, being able to trust your neighbor to look in on your pets and check your mail.

Great home in sought after 28806 zip code. Large lot with mature landscaping create a very private setting. Large 4 bedroom and 2.5 bath gives a family room to grow. Stonework on exterior gives the home a nice visual touch.
