*** “SELLER SAYS” ***

The things I love about Waynesville is the Main Street that gives the area such a quaint small town feel. The store fronts are always decorated according the latest seasons. Beautiful trees line the main street. There is a theater that was built in the late 1800's that we have been to many times. It is very vintage!  The Mast General Store has unique country items including home décor, clothes, and food. There are several great places to eat along main street as well.

Asheville is filled with many restaurants that have award winning chefs. Our favorite place to eat is at Bogarts in downtown Waynesville. It is only about 7 minutes away and the menu has something for everyone. Everyone we have brought there absolutely loves it!!

There are plenty of grocery stores nearby. Waynesville/ Iron Duff gives the feeling of living remote but not too remote. I can be at a Food Lion or Ingles within minutes.

When we bought the property we were drawn to a beautiful classic farm house on a hill. The house itself had so many features that we loved. Our favorite was the huge kitchen with the classic wood burning fireplace in the middle. The spring house looks like something from a fairy tale and my husband loves the two story utility building.

Living here allows you to be so close to so many things. Downtown Asheville, hiking, and a ski lodge is just around the corner. Everything from white water rafting, music festivals, and Lake Junaluska is 5 minutes away. Something else that is special about this area is the seasons. We truly experience every season. Winter will bring the white Christmas, during the Spring wildflowers are in bloom everywhere, during the summer months we take advantage of white water rafting, kayaking and tubing, and the fall is absolutely picture perfect.

Our favorite thing about this area is the true beauty and the peacefulness. You hear birds chirping all day and an occasional moo from the neighborhood cows. Almost all of our time is spent outside planting flowers, working in the garden, and walking through the woods at the back of the property.

Our favorite thing to do is wake up early and go to Cataloochee Valley. In the mornings we see lots of Elk. Last time we went we saw a mother black bear with her cubs. We also enjoy kayaking at Lake Junaluska and even taking a dip in the pool and playing tennis.

Our neighborhood is great for sitting on the front porch and drinking lemonade while enjoying breathtaking views. It has very much of a storybook feeling. Some people have farms and most everyone has a garden for growing veggies. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. There are several churches all within a few miles.
