We have a variety of restaurants to chose from. Since we have nearby by towns as well, it gives you several choices from fast food of all sorts to Mexican, Chinese, and Thai. I have no particular favorite, I just love food! We have grocery stores such as Food Lion, Save-a-lot, and Ingles along with several close by convenient stores. When I bought the property I loved the fact the school was close, the neighborhood was clean, great neighbors, and easy access to highway and nearby towns. My kids loved living there and it was a great starter home for a single mom. I felt safe and so did the kids. The Asheville area also has a variety of things to do. Very close to my home in Clyde. Also, during the summer Asheville has lots of activities, restaurants, and live music (my favorite). Clyde has a great elementary school, junior, and high schools. I grew up in this area and loved it. Lake Junaluska is within 3 miles so we enjoyed walking around the lake daily during the Spring an Summer months. It was very relaxing. We loved walking, riding, hiking, and swimming. All were local activities for the kids and I. My neighborhood is great for quiet walks, friendly neighbors, child friendly, cookout, and get-togethers with friends and family.
