"Seller Says"
I love that Asheville is so versatile. There are so many different things to do!

We can go on a day hike and go downtown for an evening out in the same place.  We are horse lovers and there are lots of place to ride and explore.  My husband loves to hunt and the game lands are close enough to hunt all day and be back home for dinner.

We are very excited about the new shopping venue - Asheville Outlets!  It will be open in May and there are so many awesome stores.  We have grown up in this area and we are truly blessed to call this town home.

We love to eat at Nick's Grill and Moe's BBQ up above Beaver Lake.  We also like The Fireplace Restaurant that is on Merrimon Avenue before you get to Weaverville.  Our favorite place is the Charlotte Street Pub. They have awesome wings!

We are so close to the grocery stores, gas stations, fast food, sit down food.  We never had to worry during bad weather about not being able to get out, we could walk to the stores if we needed to.

We bought this property from my husband's grandfather after his wife died.  His grandfather was going to move in with his daughter on the coast.  This house has been home to us for a long time.  We have always loved it!  It has such a cozy feeling.  We spend so much time outside enjoying the location.  The creek is beautiful and so fun to swim in during the summer.  The road that we live on is quiet and easy going.  We take walks and the kids ride their bikes in the evenings.  We can sit on the back porch and listen to the birds all night.  We even have owls nesting in the tree in the back yard.  We love this house!

Mornings are my favorite time. I can sit and drink my coffee on the front porch swing or reclining in a chair on the back porch and enjoy the sunrise.

The Asheville area is beautiful.  We are in love with the mountains in WNC.  We were stationed away from Asheville for almost 10 years and it was too long. This place is home.

Our house is a charming old home that is sturdy and in good shape. We love the huge garage. It has plenty of room for storage or an amazing workshop. There are benches that line the back wall and plenty of lights.  My husband and his grandfather built many pieces of furniture in there.  The basement is spacious for storage as well. There are shelves in the back that are perfect for storing your canned goodies.

The dirt in the yard is amazing.  It is a yard full of top soil. You can grow anything and it will flourish!  This has been a gardener's property for 55 years. There are gorgeous butterfly bushes, trees of trumpet vine, Japanese maple, weeping cherry trees and two of the most beautiful huge trees in the back yard.

We like to fish and there are some awesome fish in the creek on this road.  My husband and son have been stocking the creek for years with trout, bass, sunfish, and others.  They put 200 fish in there last summer alone. They caught a huge rainbow trout right in that creek and it is now hanging on our wall.  We also love to spend time outside, we have built a beautiful fire pit and we use it all the time. Evenings are amazing with a fire to enjoy. We also love our huge back deck.

Our neighborhood on Killian is so sweet. We have the best neighbors!  Everyone knows everyone's name here and really cares about what is going on in your life. My husband's family has been on this road for over 60 years.  This place holds many dear memories for us. My husband was deployed often and our neighbors came over to check on us, bring dinner, visit and help out in any way they could.  We are going to miss these people dearly!
