The things I love about the Arden/Fletcher area are the proximity to shopping and dining while being far enough away from the city to relax. The area parks are incredible. 

We love to eat at local independent restaurants, like Frankie Bones in Gerber Village, as well as the variety of restaurants in Biltmore Park, and there are several chain restaurants along Airport Road that are convenient and delicious. The closest Ingles grocery store, which has some of the cheapest gas in the area, is only 5 minutes away. Target, Walmart, and a variety of restaurants and other shops are nearby. Fletcher Community Park is also only 7 minutes or so away. 

The first thing we fell in love with about this property was the front yard. The weather here in the summer is enviable. The mountains are beautiful. 
We are located in a very desirable school district for elementary, middle, and high schools. This location is close enough to everything to be very convenient, while it is far enough from the city to provide relaxation. I love that we are close to the shopping centers on Airport Road while we are far enough away to feel like we are away from it all. 

There are lots of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, whether you enjoy walking, hiking, whitewater rafting, or ziplining. There are also many indoor crafting stores in the area that cater to fabric arts and painting. Our neighborhood is great for walking, and the neighbors are friendly. 

Utilities are provided by Duke Energy Progress, City of Asheville water, WastePro garbage and recycling, DirecTV or Charter television, AT&T or Charter internet. Our Verizon cell phones get excellent reception in and around the house.

  1. Awesome home at an even more awesome price!! Light and bright on 1.26 acres. Sellers are obviously confident that they will be offering an appraised home that has an inspection already done, as well as offering a home warranty. Our sellers often join in our CPO program - buyers love to purchase a home that is appraised, that they know has no problems, and that also has a home warranty to take care of any pesky issues in the first year.
