The things I love about Arden is that it is conveniently located close to everything. Not a wide radius to travel east to downtown Asheville and only a few minutes away from Biltmore Park, located off Long Shoals Road in Skyland. Close to many restaurants and school districts.

We love to eat at our local restaurants.  There are are a great variety right around the corner: Carraba's, Olive Garden, Cracker Barrel, Longhorn Steakhouse, IHOP, Pizza Hut, Moe's, Asian Grill, Little Ceasar's. Of course, for that quick picnic we have Bojangle's and Sonic.  

Grocery stores are plentiful. We have Super Walmart located on Airport Road and Ingles in Fletcher. Both a matter of a few minutes away! Many convenience store locations, but our favorite is Fast Stop located next to Bojangles on Airport Road.    

When we bought the property we were drawn to the location! As if we were in seclusion yet in the middle and convenient to everything! We truly love that our property is set up on its own private location with a view of mountains right out our back door! We also were very pleased to know that not only is our home end unit for privacy, but there are no surrounding homes we are viewing directly from our backyard!     

The Asheville area is wonderful! There are so many activities, shopping, entertainment just a small drive away. There are many waterfalls, one of our favorites Triple Falls at DuPont. We have Grove Park Inn and Biltmore House! We so enjoy our leisure rides on beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway!    

Few other things I would like to mention. . . Downtown Hendersonville has many restaurants and lot of shopping on Main Street. They also have wonderful Apple Festival each year! Downtown Asheville celebrates Bele Chere with local bands, arts and crafts, and vendors! Brevard has unique shops and restaurants as well on Main Street! Agricultural Center across from Asheville Airport has annual fair, rodeos, horse shows! Lake Julian park located off Long Shoals Road offers picnic areas, fishing, paddle boats, sail boats and walking trails. 
We love to hike! We have an annual membership at Biltmore House that offers 10% off at all restaurants and shops! They have so many hiking trails that we have discovered through the years. You may walk, bike and even horseback ride on trails!    

Of course, we all have different hobbies and interests but one we frequent often is Fletcher Park off Howard Gap Road.  They offer track, soccer fields, baseball fields playgrounds, one for toddlers and another for older children, along with pavilion for picnics or rental for parties. There is walking trail around entire park which includes entries to French Broad River for cooling off in cool mountain water or fishing.     

Our neighborhood is great, mainly because everyone is friendly and we all feel very comfortable and safe. Such a cozy community we have here!    

Our utility costs are much better than we have experienced before.  Duke Progress Energy, PSNCENERGY, and Dish Network are all fantastic!

  4. I like this home because of how well it's been maintained. It even smelled good! You can tell the owners have kept up with the maintenance. It's got sweet bedrooms and a functional floor plan. Great buy.
