"Seller Says"

The things we love about The Asheville area are many. We love the fact the this area has 4 distinct seasons, is rich in the most beautiful scenery almost everywhere you look and the most friendly people we have ever met.

We like start our Saturday mornings at the locally owned Miami Restaurant for breakfast. We are only minutes away from abundant fast food chains for the quick meal plan and only a few more minutes to Earth Fare if you are in the mood for organic food. We are close to Applebee's, Fats ,Cracker Barrel and when the weather is cold a bowl of homemade soup from our locally owned Kim and Donavan's is a must.

We have a variety of grocery stores, Ingles, Bi-Lo and Food Lion and drug stores CVS, Rite Aid all within 2 miles. In the spring and summer months there are several fresh produce stand along our drive home. We are also only 6 miles from the largest farmers market in Western North Carolina. We are less than 4 miles from the Biltmore Square Mall and 15 to 20 minutes to the Asheville Mall.

When we bought this property we were drawn to because of how convenient it is to everything. It had beautiful views in the fall and winter months and privacy in the summer.

Asheville is home to the River Arts District for those who have an interest in antiques and appreciation for local art. Asheville is also known for great restaurants in our downtown, as well as several breweries. Downtown After Five Is held every third Friday starting in May through September and has some of the best music and food in the area.

A few other things to share about our area. It is home to the Mission Hospital/Mission Health System. It is the states sixth largest health system and was recently ranked Top 15 in the United States out of more than 300 reviewed. As for continuing education, there is the University of North Carolina Asheville, and Asheville-Buncombe Community College. We are home to the Asheville Tourists minor league baseball team and children and adult sports leagues.

We love the outdoors and the seasons that our area offers. The Biltmore House and Gardens is the largest private home in America. We recommend purchasing a yearly pass which allows you to have access to walking and biking trails during the different seasons. Going west you will find the Pisgah National Forest, Great Smoky Mountains as well as the Chattahoochee Ski Resort for those who love the snow. The Folk Art Center is great for folks who enjoy watching craftsmen and purchasing their work. Biking, trout fishing, snow skiing are all great

Our neighborhood is a quiet and peacefully area on the outskirts west of Asheville in the Candler community. We like the fact that we live in country but are only 4 minutes to Interstate 40 and 26. We have great neighbors all of whom are professionals. It is a great location for kids with abundant athletic activities and excellent schools. Our high school has the best aware winning band in the county.

  1. Just under an acre for under $300k - check this one out! Large master suite on main and that desirable garage - not always found in the mountains.
